The Thermo Pot is ideal for on-the-go use, as it comes with a spoon that can be magnetically attached to the container. The Thermo Pot is made of corrosion-resistant steel. The lid is made of natural cork and features a small plastic thread that is not visible when closed. Food and liquids can stay warm in the Thermo Pot for up to 6 hours. The manufacturer, Black + Blum, also offers a 10-year warranty on the Thermo Pot. To keep food warm for as long as possible, the Thermo Pot should be pre-warmed. This is done by filling the pot with boiling hot water and letting it sit for at least 3 minutes. The Thermo Pot is not suitable for microwaves or dishwashers. Dairy products, perishable foods, and baby food should not be placed in the Thermo Pot. Before the first use and after each subsequent use, the Thermo Pot should be cleaned with hot water and dish soap. However, it should never be fully submerged in water. After cleaning, let it drain and dry thoroughly. Always store it with the lid removed. To remove discoloration or stains from the inside, the pot can be filled three-quarters full with hot water and a teaspoon of baking soda. The lid should not be placed on the pot during this process, and the water-baking soda solution should be allowed to sit overnight if possible.
