Björn Genesis

Generally referred to as a bread plate, this small dish features a slightly raised rim in the center. It is appreciated from the appetizer to dessert course and is ideal for cheese, with each piece showcasing a unique color gradient that perfectly complements the others. After an initial low-temperature firing of the clay, reactive glazes in various colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a unique and radiant surface. The creation of color nuances that differ from piece to piece results from an artistic interplay of firing techniques and the method of glaze application. The Genesis collection is inspired by journeys between land and sea. In its basalt variant, it displays a volcanic brown gradient that evokes the origin of the world and adds a mineral note. Its asymmetric lines and clear cuts give it character and authenticity.
