The Sette 270Wi features a grind size adjustment mechanism where the 30 main settings can be fine-tuned in 7 additional steps. With a micro and macro adjustment ring, the settings are easy to read. They invite experimentation, as the preset can be easily found again.

The Sette 270Wi allows for weight-based dosing of coffee. Thanks to the high-quality weighing technology from Acaia, a manufacturer of precision scales for professional use in coffee shops, the desired amount of coffee is ground directly into the portafilter at the push of a button. This feature is unique so far. The "i" in the name 270Wi stands for intelligence. The software automatically adjusts the grinder's offset, determining when to stop the grinding process before reaching the set amount, getting closer to the desired quantity with each grind. Additionally, the grinder is equipped with a "Quick Burst" function, allowing small amounts to be ground on demand to compensate for under-dosing that occurs during the first grinds after adjusting the grind size or changing the amount or type of beans. Future software updates can be installed via the Bluetooth interface using iOS or Android smartphones.

Through the Bluetooth function, the total ground amount of the grinder and the amount per grind can be transmitted to the Acaia app "Brewbar." Individual brewing processes can be precisely recorded and evaluated.
