The classic - the successful Arzberg 1382 shape. This Arzberg shape has made history. To this day, its simple and functional design has lost none of its charm. Eighty years ago, Gretsch completed sketch number 1382 in the Arzberg model book with a final pencil stroke: it was a definitive rejection of impractical, ornate tableware and at the same time a clear affirmation of functional, aesthetically pleasing everyday porcelain: the perfect shape for every day. The 1382 shape is considered one of the absolute classics of modern industrial design and is even featured in the Museum of Modern Art in New York as one of the very few porcelain shapes.
