Aqua Select 6 water filters compatible with Brita Maxtra
Product details
6 water filters Aqua Select compatible with Brita Maxtra Multimax. Four filtration stages for reliable results. The Duo-Flow system optimizes water flow through a two-chamber design. Tear-resistant, ergonomic cartridge handle for easy and safe removal of the cartridge. High-quality filter materials ensure maximum cartridge lifespan. Fits in water filtration systems with Brita Maxtra and Aqua Select Plus water filters with MultiMax cartridges. Household water filters are used for treating drinking water from the public water supply. They focus on reducing water hardness and any contaminants from the household piping. The pre-filter prevents larger particles, such as sand grains, from entering the filter. Ion exchangers inside the filter remove dissolved substances like lime and lead from drinking water by binding calcium or lead ions and exchanging them for hydrogen ions. Activated carbon is highly porous, providing a very large surface area. This structure filters and binds chlorine as well as odor- and taste-altering organic substances. The fine mesh turbidity filter prevents cloudiness in the filtered water caused by fine activated carbon particles. The result is up to 180 liters of freshly filtered water with a natural taste, reduced lime and chlorine content, and decreased levels of lead, cadmium, zinc, copper, etc., which can be released from the household water supply. All materials of the MultiMax filter cartridges are tested and approved for food safety to meet the high standards of the European Community. This also applies to their performance results. TÜV Rheinland has confirmed the high quality standard of Aqua Select Plus MultiMax filter cartridges.
