Anchor Sticktwist is a 6-strand embroidery thread made from extra-long, top-quality Egyptian cotton fibers. Each of these 6 individual strands is twisted together in pairs. The practical packaging of the skein allows for easy extraction of the desired length of embroidery thread without having to completely unwind the skein.

Thanks to its flexible strand separation, Anchor Sticktwist is the most commonly used embroidery thread with a wide range of applications in almost all embroidery techniques. It is ideal for cross-stitch on various fabric densities, as well as for colorful embroidery, canvas work, and other counted embroideries.

This thread achieves its special luster, intense light reflection, and unique softness from the long Egyptian cotton fibers and a double mercerization process. You can find Anchor Sticktwist in an 8-meter skein format in beautiful solid colors (washable at 95 degrees) as well as vibrant multicolor options (washable at 60 degrees).
