ALRE Climate controller

Electronic surface-mounted climate controller for heating and cooling regulation in 2-pipe and 4-pipe systems for hotels, residential, and commercial spaces. Up to 5 valve actuators (24V, normally closed or normally open) can be controlled per output. Particularly suitable for regulating cooling ceilings due to the possibility of dew point monitoring via optional external dew point sensors. To compensate for the inertia of control circuits with cooling ceilings, the device features a temperature sensor input for connecting an external radiation sensor (optional). In the authority version, where the controller should be inaccessible to unauthorized personnel, the external sensor can also be configured as a room sensor (optional). An internal potentiometer allows for the selection of the use of the internal sensor, the external sensor, or both sensors with adjustable weighting. The factory-set zero point of approximately 21°C can be adjusted in the device by +/- 5K. The setpoint temperature can be adjusted within +/- 3K around the set zero point using the adjustment knob. Contact inputs for ECO function and OFF (frost protection). In 2-pipe operation, the controller operates with a common heating and cooling output, which is switched via an external contact or supply sensor. With a change-over contact, it is possible to implement a central switching for up to 20 controllers with parallel wiring. Contact open or supply temperature < 20°C = cooling mode, contact closed or supply temperature > 26°C = heating mode.
