ALRE Climate controller

The KTRRB climate controller has been specifically designed for air conditioning systems with 2- or 4-pipe configurations featuring normally closed valves. The KTRRB can be used as a single-room temperature controller with an internal sensor or as an external control device with an optional remote sensor. The optional external supply sensor allows for automatic switching of the controller between heating and cooling modes in 2-pipe operation, depending on the supply temperature; alternatively, this input can be used as a heating/cooling switch contact. In the event of a sensor failure or short circuit, the heating is activated with a duty cycle of 30% to prevent cooling down or frost damage in the room. An internal switch allows the existing contact input to be configured as an ECO contact or standby contact. ECO function: When this function is selected, the temperature is regulated to 3 K lower in heating mode and 3 K higher in cooling mode. Standby function: When this function is selected, the controller is turned off (frost protection remains active). Surface or wall mounting is possible, or it can be mounted using an adapter plate on a flush-mounted box.
