Alessi Tripod

Tripod is the original pot coaster designed by Gabriele Chiave, intended to be tossed onto the table like a cube, transforming into a solid base for placing pots, trays, or serving dishes. Tripod is made of 18/10 stainless steel and is enhanced by the Golden Pink decoration.

One might almost mistake this pot coaster by the young designer Gabriele Chiave for a piece of jewelry. The core idea is that it hangs on a hook in the kitchen and can be tossed onto the table like a cube when needed. Once adjusted on the table, it serves as a coaster for a pot, pan, or serving platter. Notably, there is a contrast between the humble category of coasters and the wonderful opportunity to leap into a completely new genre that this innovative and playful aspect of the project offers.
