A revolutionary Moka that combines the technology developed by illycaffè with the design expertise of Alessi. Designed by Michele de Lucchi, the Pulcina features a small but essential design innovation that stops the flow of the beverage at the right moment, before the coffee develops a bitter aftertaste. This helps to highlight the full and rich aroma of the drink. The spout, reminiscent of a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker), allows for perfect drip control.
The espresso machine is made from thermoplastic resin and can be used on gas, electric, and glass-ceramic cooktops. The machine holds 30 cl, enough for six cups, and includes a reduction filter.
