Alessi Dressed Serving Fork

Dressed was designed by Marcel Wanders. Traditionally, embellishments are placed at the important and visible points of an object. However, Wanders places them in unobtrusive, slightly hidden spots, sometimes even in areas that are typically not visible. One could say that Wanders employs an introverted form of decoration. The very name of the Dressed collection suggests a decoration designed like a beautiful dress: it is meant to highlight the contents without overshadowing them. The Dressed line includes cutlery, glasses, underplates, a tea and coffee service, a tray, as well as coasters for bottles and glasses.
