The Clivo salad cutlery by Patricia Urquiola combines Japanese design influences with modern elegance. Inspired by handcrafted bamboo objects, the gentle, precise lines capture the essence of traditional chopsticks and transform them into elegant, functional utensils for everyday use. The distinctive indentation between the handle and the head, as well as the fine diagonal cut at the end of the handle, give each piece a unique signature.

Patricia Urquiola, born in 1961 in Oviedo, Spain, studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano under Achille Castiglioni and worked closely with design luminaries such as Vico Magistretti and Piero Lissoni. Since founding her own studio in 2001, she has been regarded as one of the most important figures in the international design scene – known for her balance of tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and modern technology.
