Corentium Pro tests the indoor air using a passive diffusion chamber and accurately calculates the radon concentration with the help of alpha spectrometry. Radon is detected using silicon photodiodes that count and measure the energy of alpha particles resulting from the decay chain of radon gas. The device is calibrated with reference instruments in accredited laboratories and is certified by AARST-NRPP and NRSB.
