Airthings 2x Wave Mini

The Wave Mini helps you monitor airborne chemicals (VOCs), temperature, humidity, and mold risk.

Local pollen levels in real-time are available directly in the Airthings app. Users can track pollen levels in their vicinity or at any location and improve their indoor air quality based on this data.

A simple hand gesture in front of the device is enough to visualize the current values using a color display in the traffic light colors of green, yellow, or red. The app allows you to view current and historical values clearly and graphically on your smartphone via Bluetooth.

To get the most accurate indication of mold risk, the Wave Mini should be placed where mold is most likely to form, such as:

• directly next to a wall or on a windowsill
• under or behind furniture
• on the floor near exterior walls
• in the basement

The mold risk indication from Airthings is based on the ASHRAE mold index. Our scale ranges from 0 to 10, with measurements displayed in traffic light colors:

• Green (0-3): Good. There is only a low risk of mold formation.
• Yellow (3-5): Moderate. Mold is likely to develop on susceptible materials such as textiles and wood.
• Red (5-10): Poor. There is a high risk of mold formation on all materials.

The mold risk indicator does not detect mold spores in the air. However, it indicates when conditions in a room favor mold growth. The indicator uses an algorithm based on temperature and humidity sensors to calculate how quickly mold can grow under current conditions.
