The beautiful stoneware is an ode to the Nordic lifestyle, inspired by the rugged Scandinavian nature, magical landscapes, rough textures, and some of the nostalgic pieces from Søholm, where RAW originated.

To achieve the look of the elegant RAW stoneware, several mechanisms are employed. The glaze of the stoneware does not consist of a uniform, solid color but varies in color and texture due to the chemical process in the kiln. The glaze develops differently from piece to piece, resulting in variations in saturation, crystallization, and layering. This technique is highly appreciated by many ceramic artists. The numerous variations in color and texture make each piece unique and give the tableware its handcrafted appearance. An exclusive and raw, through-colored stoneware blend is fired twice to achieve the highest quality and strong durability – RAW Northern Green stoneware is made for everyday use in the Nordic home.
