Monitors water values in aquariums simply and reliably. It determines pH (three ranges), carbonate hardness, general hardness, ammonium/ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, iron, copper, silicate, oxygen, and, with the help of a table, the CO2 calculation. Add the reagents to the water samples, compare on the colour chart, read off the values, and check the analysis sheet to see which actions are recommended, if any. The comparator system takes the inherent water colouring into account. CO2 content is determined by pH value and KH value using the table. It contains a childproof reagent bottle in a waterproof plastic case. Refill reagents are separately available.

Waste, plant residues, and metabolic products burden aquarium water. Since aquarium filters cannot completely remove these substances from the water and a large part of the dirt settles in the aquarium substrate, regular partial water changes (about every 2 weeks, replacing 1/3 of the water content) must be carried out. The partial water change should always be combined with vacuuming the dirt from the substrate. After the partial water change, a good water conditioner like Biotopol should be used to treat the new tap water appropriately for fish.
Easy installation: Connect the water jet pump to the faucet. Attach a long hose to the water jet pump and connect the other end to the siphon. Hang the siphon in the aquarium. Set the shut-off valve on the water jet pump to open. Turn the faucet on fully. The flowing water will draw in the aquarium water. During the suction process, clean the aquarium substrate with the siphon. To refill the aquarium, close the shut-off valve on the water jet pump and let fresh water flow into the aquarium.
