Theoretically, it might be possible for your cat to open the flap inwards, but I can't really imagine it because he can only grab the flap at the outer edge, he must be very skilled... According to information on the manufacturer's website www.surepetcare.com, the narrowest passage point for the pet is 178 mm (W) x 170 mm (H).
I requested information from the product department but unfortunately they could not find this information. However, the hole in the glass must be 300mm at most 320mm.
We bought it in white and mounted it in a wooden door. It works perfectly.

Jiarong is right. Out goes for all, in only for the chipped cat. However, we did not receive a collar tag with the delivery, which is also supposed to work. Besides, I don't think a collar is ideal, especially for a young cat. She could get stuck with it when climbing....
Maybe it's easiest if you chip her as well.
