Brilliant lighting and outstanding plant growth are made possible by JUWEL's modern MultiLux LED lighting technology. The replaceable 29-watt LED tubes DAY and NATURE create an optimal light spectrum and save up to 50% energy compared to T5. The MultiLux LED lighting system of the RIO 240 LED allows for comfortable work in the aquarium, even when the lighting is on. The ultrasonic-welded lighting unit is 100 percent waterproof and meets high European safety standards.

For optimal filtration, the RIO 240 LED is equipped with a powerful Bioflow M. This internal filter combines effectiveness with safety and is the heart of a JUWEL aquarium. It follows the principle "The water stays in the aquarium," making it the safest way to filter an aquarium. The Bioflow M is equipped with five powerful filter media and a quiet, high-performance Eccoflow 600 circulation pump.

To maintain the correct temperature in the RIO 240 LED, the JUWEL 200-watt heater is optimally integrated into the water circulation of the Bioflow M filter system. Thanks to the use of high-quality silver contacts and impact-resistant borosilicate glass, the JUWEL heater meets the highest demands for function and safety and is TÜV/GS certified.
