Can I use regular salt for hatching Artemia?
In principle, iodide-free salt can be used for hatching. However, HOBBY Artemia salt is specifically formulated to match the seawater composition of the Artemia's natural habitat. It also contains traces of plankton for the nutrition of the hatched nauplii. Scientific findings indicate that the best hatching results are achieved with HOBBY Artemia salt.

Why are my Artemia nauplii dying?
