The Cat Scratching Post Katla is a stable and functional scratching pillar for cats with a sleek, modern design that harmoniously fits into contemporary interiors. Standing at 128 cm tall and with a base measuring 85 x 42.5 cm, this scratching post features robust scratching posts with a diameter of 15 cm, a comfortable hanging bed, and a cozy cat house. The cat house includes a removable cushion made of faux rabbit fur, and the platform also has a separate cushion. Both the hanging bed and the cushions are hand washable at temperatures up to 30°C. Constructed with a solid wood base covered in soft interior fabric, the scratching post is wrapped in 1 cm thick sisal rope that is securely glued to the post. The scratching pillar includes an attached ball for interactive play. It is suitable for large cat breeds due to the substantial post thickness, although smaller cats will also enjoy this scratching post. The interior fabric requires careful maintenance to prevent pilling, and using cat spray on the scratching posts can help direct scratching behavior. For cleaning, it is recommended to vacuum hair followed by steam cleaning to ensure thorough sanitization and bacteria elimination. Avoid using chlorine, ammonia, or harsh cleaning chemicals that could be harmful to cats or damage the fabric surface.
