Dog food supplement elm bark, 150 g

Supplementary feed for dogs and cats to support stomach function. It is rich in tannins and bitter substances and has a mucilaginous effect. Made from American red elm, it is used for smacking and grass eating.

The resulting mucus is very suitable for supporting stomach function, as it coats the stomach as a protective layer and promotes the gastric mucosa in its digestive function. The product is plant-based and rich in mucilage. It supports gastrointestinal function as well as digestion and is used in cases of stomach acidity.

Feeding recommendation for dogs per day:

• Under 15 kg: 5 ml of the prepared mixture 2-3 times daily
• Over 15 kg: 5-10 ml of the prepared mixture 2-3 times daily

The amount should be gradually increased. Feeding does not necessarily have to occur in the morning, noon, and evening but can also be given shortly before grass eating or smacking. Ideally, it should be administered 30 minutes before the normal feeding. The administration of medications and mineral powders should not coincide with the use of elm bark.

Feeding recommendation for cats per day:
3-5 ml of the prepared mixture 2-3 times daily. Again, the amount should be gradually increased, and feeding does not need to occur at fixed times.

If your dog is tired and lethargic, he may need special food or restorative supplements. Strengthen him with multivitamin preparations or support his nerves during stress and lethargy.
