Product details
With animal protein. A species-appropriate rodent food consists of fresh and dry food as well as hay and straw. The intestines of small animals are very sensitive and require plenty of soluble fiber. In addition to eating vegetables, these cute creatures love dry rodent food, such as hay and pellets. Please remember to ensure your pet has adequate hydration. Rodents need regular dental wear, which is achieved through dry rodent food and chew sticks. A good commercial feed should contain few puffed and colorful pressed components. Instead, a high proportion of various grains, dried vegetables, herbs, and minimal oilseeds, nuts, and seeds is advisable. This is also known at Copacabana, which is why the rat food only contains corn croquettes, essential for keeping the animals engaged. Otherwise, the complete feed consists solely of natural ingredients and is made without added sugar. Tip: Don’t just place the dry food in the feeding bowl, but also hide it in the enclosure so that the rats have to search for it. Small portions can be hidden in egg cartons or wrapped in tissues and hung on the bars.
