Milk substitute in case of mother animal failure

This gently spray-dried powder made from milk, combined with a high proportion of high-quality colostrum, is used as a base for puppy milk. Due to this composition, it is optimally adapted to mother’s milk and is also highly digestible for orphaned puppies. Puppy milk is free from any synthetic additives.

Puppy milk can be fed as a substitute when the mother animal is unable to care for them due to death or illness. During the first 3-4 weeks of life, puppies should rely solely on mother’s milk. In cases of milk shortage or large litters, the use of a milk substitute can protect puppies from malnutrition.

Puppy milk is formulated to support stable digestion in puppies, contains necessary immune components, and is particularly high-quality and easily digestible. Your pet needs sufficient time to adjust to the new food. To avoid digestive disturbances, the transition to new food should be slow and gradual.

Stimulate the puppy's belly with a soft, body-warm cloth to encourage digestion. Until the third week, puppies are not able to urinate or defecate independently. Normally, the mother dog stimulates the puppies' digestion by licking their bellies, so it is beneficial to imitate this behavior after each feeding and stimulate the little belly. This helps prevent possible constipation.
