The mattress only makes quiet noises when moving and is imperceptible during sleep. If you are a bit heavier (approx. 95 kg and up), you have to pump in a little air every evening with the integrated pump - but this should be done before anyone else in the same room goes to bed, as it creates a lot of noise.

There is no motor running to disturb you. When you turn, it sounds a bit "hollow," but not even unpleasantly so. For myself, however, I used a topper and a fitted sheet.
