Question about Goobay LED transformer 12 V/12 W
Hello Does anyone operate Philips Hue lamps (MR16, GU5.3) with this transformer? The product description states that the transformer is not dimmable. Does it still work with Hue lamps without interference? Presumably this (not dimmable) only refers to the input of the transformer or whether you want to connect a conventional dimmer to the transformer, right? Thank you in advance for your answers!
The normal setup with the GU5.3 was a dimmer (230v), then a transformer to 12v for the GU5.3 spots. You needed a transformer that could be dimmed. That is what is meant here. So it is only relevant if you have a dimmer BEFORE your transformer in your installation. If it's a normal switch, it's not a problem, you can dim the Hue directly.
