2 questions: Is the 18-ST1044 made of stainless steel SHINY (not brushed?) and actually not rechargeable via USB as in the description (at least I read in the reviews about quickly discharged 4 AA batteries)? unfortunately i don't see the difference to ST1043. Thank you!

ST1044 is made of shiny stainless steel. ST1043 is made of brushed stainless steel. The dispenser has a built-in lithium-ion battery and can be easily recharged with the supplied USB cable. Although it is in continuous use in our home, one charge lasts longer than 3 months. The statement "Soap quantity can be adjusted via +/- buttons" is not true. The amount of soap is regulated by the positioning of the hand. We use liquid soap from Migros etc. It has been in use for 2 years and has never dripped; however, we do not dilute the soap with water. I love this soap dispenser; it is the best we have ever had. Its simple, beautiful design fits perfectly in our kitchen and with the shiny tap.

Yes, the dispenser is made of shiny stainless steel and has a rechargeable battery that lasts quite a long time and can be charged with the supplied cable.
