Violan Seat cushion

Violan seat cushion square. For the first time, Metz Textil & Design is breaking with its own tradition – but the company from Aschau am Inn is doing this firstly for a good innovative reason and secondly with the best green conscience: instead of real wool felt, Metz Textil & Design uses »Violan«, a purely vegetable felt developed over many years of tüfelt-work. The material has the same high quality as soft merino wool felt, but consists of plant residues and wood fibres. As seat cover the felt is cross-hardened in two layers with decorative stitch, so that the cushion can be used on both sides. Equipped with a padding lining, the cushion has a good grip, but can therefore only be cleaned at 30 °C in hand tools. In square form, the formidable seat cushion adapts to many different lengths, supports and stools.
