Violan Round

Violan coasters in a round shape. For the first time, Metz Textil & Design breaks with its own tradition – but the company from Aschau am Inn does so for a good innovative reason and with a clear green conscience: Instead of using the usual household genuine wool felt, Metz Textil & Design opts for "Violan," a purely plant-based felt developed over years of meticulous work. The material feels just as high-quality as soft merino wool felt, but is made from plant residues and wood fibers. It is pleasantly soft to the touch, highly absorbent, allergen-free, biodegradable, and completely non-toxic, allowing even small children to safely put the felt in their mouths! Furthermore, every round or square coaster for glasses, mugs, and bowls, like any optionally available table set, can be washed with a mild detergent at 30 °C without spinning – even true wool felt fans won't be able to resist!.
