What are the advantages and properties of Lyocell?
Lyocell is more breathable than cotton and can absorb up to 50% more moisture. Additionally, Lyocell can release the absorbed moisture back into the environment immediately, unlike cotton, which dries only through good ventilation. This is especially beneficial for bedding, as a person sweats an average of one to two glasses of water per night. Lyocell ensures a dry sleeping environment.

Covers made with Lyocell cool in warmth and warm in cold. With a constant and pleasant temperature, sleep is quieter and more restorative.

Why is Lyocell ideal for allergy sufferers?
The greatest advantage of Lyocell fabric is for allergy sufferers. If moisture remains in the fabric, mold can develop, creating a breeding ground for dust mites. This breaks down skin flakes, making them more digestible for the mites. Lyocell interrupts this chain and prevents the establishment of new dust mites.

Tests show that existing mite populations can almost completely die out within six weeks due to Lyocell, while in conventional mattresses, the number of mites increases by 17 times in the same period.

Therefore, dermatologists recommend so-called encasings for mattresses for allergy sufferers, but thanks to Lyocell, these are no longer necessary.
