Rosendahl Timepieces Arne Jacobsen Alarm Clock

Originally, the Danish designer created this table clock for the manufacturer Lauritz Knudsen in 1939, featuring a manual winding mechanism made from a novel material called plastic. The round clock case rests on a graceful arc of stainless steel. As an upgrade to the original, the Danish manufacturer Rosendahl now incorporates a modern quartz movement (AA 1.5V battery, not included) in each table clock, which reliably wakes you up automatically without the need for daily winding. Instead of a clattering metal bell, it features an electronic chime that gently increases in volume. Additionally, the modern version of this classic includes a backlit dial with a sensor switch and a snooze function. Rosendahl offers the Arne Jacobsen alarm clock with different dials: this table clock comes traditionally with modern Arabic numerals and dot markers.
