While the front impresses with simple elegance and luminescent hour markers, the back features a straightforward, large rotary switch with a button and a small dial. The latter is used to set the alarm time, while the time setting and battery replacement are hidden under a cover. The large rotary switch turns the alarm on, with a small viewing window below the twelve marker changing from black to a striking white dot as a visual indicator of the alarm's readiness. The built-in dial illumination can also be activated sleepily by gently pressing the button on the back, serving as a light ring for two to three seconds.
