Simon Legald designed Form for Normann Copenhagen with the aim of creating a chair as if from a single mould, in which the seat and frame form a single unit. To achieve this seamless, integrated look, an innovative solution was developed to connect the seat to the legs. The pre-moulded seat shell and the oak, walnut or steel frame are simply joined together using a unique connector system. The hard plastic seat meets elegantly with the wooden or steel legs, emphasising the high-quality craftsmanship and minimalist Scandinavian furniture design.
