Normann Copenhagen Ding

The German designers Ding3000 drew inspiration from an ancient three-dimensional puzzle to create a simple coffee table that can be assembled without screws or tools. Strikingly simple: The table consists of three legs made of oak wood - when assembled, they merge into a sculptural knot that supports an elegant glass tabletop.

Ding3000 closely examined puzzles and began to playfully experiment with their shapes and fundamental principles: three interlocking wooden sticks that connect to form an seemingly inseparable knot. This led to the idea of using this shape as the perfect frame for a table. The legs are rounded with beveled edges, ensuring the table stands stable and the glass top rests securely on the frame.
