The wood finish is spruce with an old wood look, resembling wood that has been stored for 100 years. It has a rustic structured surface, and as a natural product, cracks and knots are intentional. The cover color is brown, and the unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage appearance. The wood is limed, sanded black, and lacquered with clear varnish.

This bed is only suitable for slatted frames with a fixed frame. We use a solvent-free, water-based varnish. The thermo spruce is processed through a specially developed method where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. The wood becomes much harder through the thermo process and is sourced from sustainable cultivation, coming only from surrounding sawmills in Bavaria.

The bed has an abrasion resistance of over 45,000 abrasion cycles. Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered as accessories, starting from size 140x200 cm with a center bar. It offers four adjustable bedding depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm) and includes a quilted headboard with a middle bar and telescopic foot.

Made in Germany, the cover material is fabric, specifically 100% polyester, with a brushed and lacquered surface treatment.

Assembly is easy and quick with clear instructions provided. The package includes one solid wood bed and one headboard, but does not include a slatted frame or mattress. The bed comes disassembled for easy transport.
