The wood finish is spruce with a rustic structured surface that resembles wood stored for 100 years. As a natural product, the wood may have deliberate cracks and knots. The cover color is anthracite, and the unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage look. The wood is limed, sanded black, and varnished with clear varnish.

Matching support slats for roll-up grids can be ordered separately. The thermo spruce undergoes a special process where the wood is steamed with high heat and dried simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, making it 100% organic. This process increases the hardness of the wood. The wood is sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria and is from sustainable cultivation.

The bed is only suitable for slatted frames with a fixed frame and has an abrasion resistance of over 45,000 abrasion cycles. It includes a center bar for sizes 140x200 cm and above. We use solvent-free, water-based varnishes.

The bed features a quilted headboard and offers four adjustable bed depths (18 / 16 / 13.5 / 11 cm), including a middle bar with telescopic foot. The cover material is fabric, specifically 100% polyester, and the surface treatment is lacquered and brushed.

Assembly is easy and quick with clear instructions provided. The package includes one solid wood bed and one headboard, but does not include a slatted frame or mattress.

Color options are spruce and anthracite. Made in Germany with high quality standards.
