For an effective blackout effect, we recommend choosing dark curtains in black, gray, dark blue, or green, as these shades block sunlight particularly well and create darkness in the room. If you prefer curtains in lighter colors such as white, ecru, or beige, we recommend complementing them with a thermal lining to shield against light. Lighter colors can always allow some light to penetrate, especially in south-facing windows. In this case, using the lining will achieve effective blackout.
