The Pilastro Stool is part of the legendary "Kartell goes Sottsass – A Tribute to Memphis" collection, launched by the design label in honor of the design icon Ettore Sottsass and his Memphis design group. The Memphis design group opposed superficial functionality and created everyday objects with unique designs.
