Dining Table: Impressive table with a glamorous flair. A dream straight out of 1001 Nights. In the Indian city of Udaipur, located in the distant Rajasthan and often referred to as the Venice of India due to its magnificent temples and palaces, we encountered a small group of craftsmen possessing unique and nearly forgotten artisanal skills. This craftsmanship, the creation of exquisite silver furniture for the residences and palaces of royal families, honed and refined over generations, is reflected in this extraordinary and unique piece of furniture. Each element has been lovingly handcrafted. The body is covered with metal leaf. A rare and remarkable masterpiece that you will enjoy for years to come. For all lords and princesses who cannot or do not want to forgo a glamorous atmosphere. For your masterpiece, carpenters first construct the body from mango wood. It is finely sanded by hand until no imperfections can be seen or felt. Then, the craftsman applies a rubber-based adhesive. Now the individual parts of the table are assembled. The load capacity has not been tested. Height of the tabletop: 6.5 cm, clear dimensions of the legs on the long side: 177 cm, short side: 75 cm. Legs: mango wood, tabletop: MDF, covering: tinplate, glass top: 8 mm clear ESG glass.
