Our note: While coconut fiber mats can be left outdoors year-round, they do not tolerate constant moisture (prolonged rain or continuous snow) or extended exposure to intense sunlight or heat. This can damage the natural fibers, which is why the mats should only be placed in protected, covered outdoor areas. During cleaning and use, the mats may shed fibers to a small extent, but this is normal and a characteristic of natural fibers.
