Kähler Omaggio vase

Omaggio vase. Her intuitive and natural line, which is guided by a maximum of reduction, seduces to locate the vase design in Japan, but it is Danish provenance through and through: Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft have created a family of differently sized flower vases for the Danish brand Kähler Design, each for a preferred cut flower length. The simple striped decoration of the vase gets its striking dynamic from the small variance of the striped width paired with its irregular arrangement on the bulbous ceramic form. In addition, Kähler Design uses a special shimmer for the stripes on the high-gloss glazed ceramic bodies of the Omaggio vase, in addition to the already striking black: the metallic silver tone reflects with the shimmering mother-of-pearl shade.
