Slightly deeper, slightly lower, and distinctly more casual: Per Weiss, Andreas Lund, and Flemming Højfeldt have developed the highly popular folding sofa for their Danish manufacturer Innovation Randers. Externally, the sofa still strongly resembles the typical couch from the late 1950s and early 1960s. In this "Lounge" version, the dimensions are adjusted for those seeking comfort: The seat height is lower (35 cm) and the depth is more pronounced (65 cm), resting on elegant stiletto legs made of dark-stained elm wood. To achieve a more comfortable sleeping area of 140 cm x 200 cm, the backrest of the couch can be lowered. Additionally, the backrest can be locked in a semi-open "Relax" position. Despite the formal reference to Mid-Century design, the Unfurl Lounger sofa bed is, of course, equipped with the latest in modern upholstery technology, including a continuous pocket spring mattress and durable upholstery fabric.
