Product details
Bumble and Bimble Figure. These adorable creatures belong to the species of Hoptimists. The universe of these small wooden figures with funny springy heads was originally conceived in 1968 by Danish cabinetmaker Hans Gustav Ehrenreich, but production was discontinued after only about five years. In 2009, Lotte Steffensen revived the concept with a specially created brand called Hoptimist, in the spirit of Ehrenreich: Their round, friendly facial shapes are meant to make us smile, and their hopping serves as a motivational aid to brighten our day. The concept also includes that every Hoptimist, despite its different sizes and materials, is assembled in a workshop for people with disabilities: First, we glue felt under the feet, then attach the spring to the base, and when the head is placed on top and we let go – they come to life. Baby Bumble Figure. Attentively with open eyes and a quirky head antenna, the little wobbly candidate made of colorful plastic cheerfully absorbs news – without immediately giving his two cents. What a delight for the office!.
