A rug is a great way to define a space, and through color and shape, it creates a sense of coherence between furniture and accessories in a room. In dusty, earthy tones and with asymmetrically placed fringes, the Kilim rug reinterprets traditional Kilim craftsmanship and combines it with our design DNA, which has a strong sense of geometric and organic shapes as well as exceptional color blocking. Our Kilim rugs are handcrafted, which means the weaving may vary slightly from rug to rug. The weaving technique is the Punja loom - a traditional manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. Additionally, the wool yarn is dyed by hand, and due to the nature of wool and dye, some color variations may occur. The Kilim fabric and wool yarns have a unique, rough texture.
