Product details

Kapok is 100% vegan, soft, hollow inside, voluminous, and the lightest known fiber. It is extremely heat-retaining and insulating, allowing excess body heat to be released into the environment. The wax coating prevents moisture absorption and directs it away. This helps to prevent the spread of bacteria. Kapok comes from the wild-growing silk cotton tree. In the hand-picked kapok pod, the seed is surrounded by silky, shiny fibers known as plant down.
