Pure luxury - the wonderfully soft blanket is filled with the finest down that nature has to offer. The eider duck is native to the Nordic countries. It has adapted well to the harsh climate and has plumage with excellent thermal performance and insulation properties. It uses its down to line the nest, protecting the delicate brood from wind and cold. After the breeding season, the down is collected from the abandoned nests. This down is particularly large, light, and soft. It has tiny branches that interlock like a fleece, creating air chambers that contribute to its high thermal retention capacity. Only half the amount of this wonderful filling is needed compared to conventional goose down, providing an ultra-light, carefree sleeping experience. Adorned with elegant embroidery.
