From a craft business to the de Sede design team

De Sede has a long-standing history. Founded as a saddlery by Ernst Lüthy in 1963, the company specialized in the handcrafted production of leather furniture. Just three years after its founding, the family business was transformed into a corporation, and de Sede's success steadily progressed.
