Centa Star cassette quilt from the "Gulf of Alaska" series. The harsh climate of Alaska causes wild ducks to develop plumage that keeps them and their brood warm during the long winters and short summers. The warmth of this down and feather plumage is comparable to that of eider down. Wrapped in the finest, snug cotton, the stays prevent the filling from slipping.
