The Marble quality gets its name from the resemblance of the rugs to a collection of marbles. The Marble rugs are made from a yarn that achieves its multicolored appearance through the space-dye technique. The wool yarn is felted, a process in which loose wool fibers are matted together through rubbing, water, and soap, resulting in a thick and stable yarn, which ensures the rugs are of high quality. The yarns are intricately connected and woven together, giving the surface its remarkable texture. The Marble quality is available upon request in any desired size.
