Good design is as little design as possible, not burdened with non-essentials. The BC17W-DCF features a large, easy-to-read dial layout and timeless design, honoring Ram's 10 principles. The clockwork is silent, and the yellow-tipped second hand floats in one continuous movement across the dial. No ticking - just time.
The DCF (GMT+1) signal radio-controlled movement is designed for the Central European Time Zone, which covers Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Northern Italy, and all other countries sharing the same time zone. The radio-controlled function can be switched off, allowing the clock to be manually set for use in countries where the radio-controlled signal cannot be registered.
