Burgers and hot dogs are undoubtedly among the most famous fast food items and have significantly shaped the term. When thinking of the street scene in American metropolises, the bustling activity comes to mind, where passersby grab a quick snack at typical hot dog stands. But hot dogs are not only popular on the plate; they also bring excitement to the living room. Together with the design studio Studio Job, the Italian brand SELETTI launched the Hot Dog Sofa, which, like the Burger Chair, is part of the BLOW collection.

Extravagant designer sofa with intricate details

The hot dog-shaped sofa draws all eyes to it. The designers showed great attention to detail in the design of the sofa. The seat and backrest are not only styled to resemble a sliced hot dog bun, but the sausage with mustard, as well as cucumber and tomato slices in the form of decorative cushions, are also included. The basic structure of the Hot Dog Sofa is made of wood, metal, and polyurethane. The sofa stands on elegant gilded feet made from high-quality resin. The upholstery is a blend of cotton, linen, viscose, and polyester.

In collaboration with the design studio Studio Job, the brand SELETTI presented the BLOW collection during the Milan Design Week in 2017. The furniture, lighting, and decor of the series break conventions and bridge the gap between art and design.
